Tot 1-0 Man City: Son's strike earns Spurs a vital win

Son Heung Min's strike was enough to give Tottenham Hotspur a vital win in the first leg of the Champions League at the White Hart Lane on Tuesday evening.

Sergio Aguero missed from the penalty spot in the 11th after Rose appeared to have fouled in the box in an attempt to save Raheem Sterling's shot, Spurs was fortunate as Hugo Lloris dived the right way make a fine save.

Manchester City and Tottenham looked uncoordinated in opening 20 minutes, both teams gradually get into the game gradually with Spurs wasting a scoring opportunity.

Tottenham enjoyed a better ball possession than Manchester City in the first half. Both teams struggle greatly in the opening 45 minutes as no goal from both sides.

Guardiola made a double substitution as Riyad Mahrez and David Silva was withdrew for Leroy Sane and Kelvin De Bruyne in the 89th minute. The game ended1-0 in favour of Spurs.
