Neymar’s dad who happens to be his agent has explained Neymar’s next move after Real Madrid turned their attention to his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid has been credited with an interest for the Brazilian ace but the return of Zinedine Zidane to the dugout has made Los Blancos look elsewhere for reinforcement.

Neymar moved to PSG in a world record €222m fee from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 but has long been linked with a return to Spanish football after he failed to settle down in the French capital.

“He is in the second year of his contract (with PSG), so he still has another three years before the end of his contract,” Neymar Snr told UOL, in quotes translated by Get France Football News.

“And we are already talking about a contract extension with PSG…his name has been the subject of rumours ever since he was 17, from the moment that he made his professional debut.

“Neymar has only experienced two transfers in his life but there has been speculation for 10 years. The probability that he doesn’t leave is too big.

“People say ‘Neymar is in all the transfer rumours to all the big clubs in each window.’ That signifies that his career is being well managed, he is always amongst the names (that matter).

“But that does not mean that he will go to one club or another.”

Real Madrid has back-off from the deal to sign Neymar.
