Cristiano Ronaldo has informed Juventus hierarchy to signed £75million rated Manchester United striker, Romelu Lukaku this summer.
The 26-year-old Belgium international moves to Old Trafford from Everton in 2017 but the centre-forward scored 12 Premier League goals in 32 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side last season.
According to Fox Sports, Ronaldo is keen on seeing the Lukaku play for the Serie A champions Juventus next season after the former Chelsea star wants to move away from the Manchester United.
The newspaper is also reporting that Juventus’ new manager, Maurizio Sarri is keen on improving his options in attack this summer since striker Mario Mandzukic is growing old and Lukaku could be a perfect replacement for the retired Croatian goal poacher.
The Belgian all-time goals scorer has been heavily linked with both Inter Milan and Napoli but the Premier League side are holding for the same £75m that they shelled out for Lukaku back in 2017, which has left two other former Chelsea managers in Carlo Ancelotti and Maurizio Sarri to battle it out for the Belgian's signature.
Juventus have already captured one former Premier League star among their ranks this pre-season as Aaron Ramsey begins life in Turin following his move from Arsenal, coming after the Welshman's contract had expired.
