Two La Liga clubs of Espanyol and Getafe battle for Super Eagles midfielder on loan till the end of the season, according to report from Spain.

The-23-year-old Nigeria international has struggled for playing time with the Belgium Jupiler side Standard Liege under new coach Preud’Homme and the versatile star could return to Spain where he featured 95 times for Granada.

According to Deniere Heure, Getafe could even include Japan international Gaku Shibasaki in the loan deal for Agbo while Espanyol wants to bring Kano born to RCDE Stadium this month.

Former Under 20 star has only managed seven starting appearances and three as a substitute in 21 league matches this season in Belgium.

Agbo started his Bai Boys and moved to Taraba in 2010 and later he signed for JUTH before a spell in Enyimba International, Udinese, Granada, Watford and Standard Liège.
