Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says everyone at the club must pull together during a difficult period if they are to have a successful season as preparations intensifies ahead of Roma's visit to Stamford Bridge for Wednesday UEFA Champions League showdown.
Conte and his lads have a chance to respond to the 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace, and the one against Manchester City before the international break, when Roma visit west London.
Conte in an interview on Chelsea's official website believes his squad have what it takes to get back on the right path, and quickly.
"We have to find the strength to overcome this moment,’ the boss said. ‘I know my squad and my players very well. I have players with great will to work and to fight.
"We must be unhappy after a defeat, above all if the defeat is not one but two in a row. This is not a positive moment for many reasons.
"We are playing without important players and every game we are having a new injury, but I trust all my players and I try to give everyone the opportunity to take their chance."
The Blues welcome Eusebio Di Francesco’s side to Stamford Bridge in midweek, with both sides fighting it out after disappointing league results over the weekend.
Chelsea were beaten 2-1 at Selhurst Park by Crystal Palace in the Premier League – a defeat which saw them fall outside the top-four and fall nine points behind leaders Manchester City, while Roma also suffered a 1-0 home defeat in Serie A to Napoli.
