Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu is relishing his return to Slovenia after his Israeli outfit Hapoel Be'er Sheva was drawn against Maribor in the UEFA Champions League play-off round. The Israeli Champions saw off competitions from Honved and Ludogorets in the second and third round qualifying stages to secure a play off spot, meaning they are now two successful games away from making it to the group stage of the 2017/18 Champions League campaign.Ogu who began his professional career in Slovenia with Drava took to Twitter after the draws were released by UEFA, saying: "Slovenia is the next destination. I have Good memories about that great country . Country where I started as a professional !! I can't wait!"
Ogu and his troops will on August 16 play host to Maribor at the Yaakov Turner Toto Stadium before heading Slovenia a week later for the return leg.
