UEFA UCL: Miller wants Kane to start against Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur hero Paul Miller has urged Mauricio Pochettino to start Harry Kane against Liverpool in the Champions League final.

Kane suffered a season-threatening injury against Manchester City in the quarterfinals of the Champions League but he recovered on time from his ankle injury to be fit for the clash against Liverpool in the Champions League.

Miller argues Kane, who has recovered from an ankle injury, has always done well against Reds defender Virgil van Dijk.

He told The Sun: "Harry's playing. Poch has a choice. Start him and give him 70 minutes or bring him on at half- time or after an hour?

"There could be extra-time, remember. That would be two hours of football after not playing for a while.

"Harry does well against Van Dijk and he always scores against Liverpool.

"Van Dijk is all right but I don't think he's the superstar everyone makes out.

"It's easy to be a defender nowadays."

Miller won the UEFA Cup with Tottenham during his playing days.
