Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has expressed satisfaction with Hapoel Be'er Sheva's impressive home win over Ludogorets on Wednesday but warns his team-mates not to be carried away by the result ahead of the return leg in Bulgaria.
The former Academica who has been one of Be'er Sheva's most influental midfield figures bagged 90 minutes of action and a late yellow card as the Israeli side secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Ludogorets in their first leg of the UEFA Champions League third round qualifying match.
Speaking about the Israeli Champions' two goal cushion ahead of next Wednesday's showdown at the Ludogorets Arena, Ogu who is now in his third season at the Yaakov Turner Toto took to Twitter saying: "Great result against a good side but we won't get carried away knowing we have to go to Bulgaria .Proud of my team mates and fans for all!"
Goals from in-form Nigerian star Anthony Nwakaeme and Michael Ohana was all Be'er Sheva needed to take control of their UEFA Champions League group stage qualification dreams.
Nwakaeme who was on target during their 3-2 win on the road in Budapest against Honved in the second qualifying round broke the deadlock after 19 minutes after benefitting from a good work by Melikson before Ohana eased the nerves in the stands with 11 minutes left on the clock.
Up next for Ogu and Nwakaeme is a domestic fixture at home against Hapoel Ashkelon in the Toto Cup Ligat Al.
