Valencia manager Marcelino Garcia Toral has reacted to the 2-0 defeat against Real Madrid in their La Liga clash at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

Marcelino told the club's website:'We played a great second half and had four clear chances to draw, but we were not strong. I think we were superior for many minutes.
'We have to be self-critical and know that we are trained to play better. There is a lot of competition ahead and little distance with our rivals.'
Up next for Valencia is the Copa del Rey clash with Ebro
on Tuesday at the Mestalla Stadium, Valencia have a slim advantage over the Segunda division team having won 2-1 at away.
