Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has defended Barcelona and Lionel Messi after a poor outing following their 0-0 draw against Athletic Bilbao.
Valverde insisted that Messi is 100 per cent fit going into the game.

"He's at one hundred per cent, he played that way," he explained in his post-match press conference.
"Leo is fine.
"We've had problems with him, but if he's played then it's because he was totally ready to.”
Up next for Barcelona is the home match against Real Valladolid in the domestic scene and travel to Lyon for the Champions League before the back to back El-Clasico before the end of February.
