Verratti reveals his dream Spanish club ahead of next season

The Paris Saint Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has revealed Real Madrid as the Spanish club he wishes to join if he quit the French capital in the summer.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to La Liga biggest teams in recent transfers but the Italian has cooled the moves and chose to remain in France.

The Italian has won four Ligue 1 titles with PSG summer departure could be on the cards for the Italian.

Barcelona have been looking at him as a potential replacement for club captain Andres Iniesta.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Verratti would prefer to join Real Madrid instead of Barcelona should he quit the French capital.

It is said the 24-year-old feels Real are building a young and exciting team.

But the midfielder sees no guarantees at the Catalan club, with Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Andre Gomes also fighting for a place in the starting XI.

Verratti might join Real as a replacement for Luka Modric, who was backed to seal a summer move to Bayern Munich last month.
