VIDEO: Fans cheer Kanu after Super Eagle beat Bafana Bafana

Egyptian fans at the Cairo International Stadium cheered former Nigeria captain Nwankwo Kanu after Super Eagles beat Bafana Bafana 2-1 in the quarter-finals on Wednesday night.

The 42-year-old Arsenal legend who is one of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ambassador for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations was in joyous mood after Genort Rohr secured their passage into the last four of the tournament in Egypt.

In a short clip which Kanu shared on his official Instagram, the former Ajax striker could be seen cheering supporters at the Cairo International Stadium, with the fans chanting ‘Papilo! Papilo!!’.

Super Eagles are waiting for the winner of Algeria and Ivory Coast at the last four stages of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
