Mario Balotelli beat former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama twice as Nice came from behind to beat Lille 2-1 in the French Ligue 1 on Friday night.
Interestingly, it was the first time in 563 days that Balotelli will be scoring a league goal(s) away from home and it was Nigeria's Enyeama that was at the receiving end.
See how the Italian striker breached Enyeama twice in Friday's clash
It was Ibrahim Amadou that got the curtain raiser; giving the home side the lead after 14 minutes, that lead was however short-lived as Balotelli in the 17th minute beat Enyeama nicely when he struck by finishing a fine volley from Valentin Eysseric's cross.
Balotelli sealed all three points for Nice when he was first to meet goalkeeper Enyeama's save from a fierce shot and finish from close range.
It is now back-to-back losses for Enyeama and his teammates who were also beaten 2-1 by Monaco in their last outing.
Lille are 13th on the log in the French Ligue 1 log and would next be playing away to Rennes
