Brazilian attacker Gabriel Jesus was in the referee book for various reason in the Copa America finals against Peru, first he assisted a goal, he scored a goal, he was shown a yellow card and another yellow card that led to a red card and then a sent off from the pitch in the 70th minute of the clash.

He joined the likes of Lionel Messi and Gary Mendel to be sent off in this year’s Copa America.

Jesus was enjoying his game before he contested the ball in the air with a Peru player  Carlos Zambrano and appeared to elbow the player unknowingly which lead to his second booking and then a sent off.

After huge protests from Jesus himself and his teammates, the forward was later seen on the verge of tears in the tunnel as the game continued.

Brazil was able to control the game despite one man down and second the third goal from the penalty spot in the nick of time to make it 3-1 as the claim the Copa America title.
