Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala continued her startling form for Barcelona Femeni after scoring in the 2-0 away win against title rivals Atletico Madrid Ladies at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on Sunday.

The 24-year-old three-time African Footballer of the Year became the first woman to score in a record attendance of 60,739 spectators for a women’s club football match.

Oshoala opened the scoring from a stunning header in the 65th minute before England international Toni Duggan came off the bench to replace Super Falcons to score the second and winning goal in the 80th minute for the visitor.

Former Arsenal and Robo star have now found back of the net five times in five appearances in the Liga Iberdrola since her switch on loan from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian in January.

With six games left to go in the league, Barcelona cut Atleti’s lead to three points at the top of the table.
