Arsenal are set for massive departures at the end of the season but it can get very awkward as manager Arsene Wenger and contract rebel Alexis Sanchez may end up at Paris Saint German (PSG) in the summer.
The Chile international has refused to budge on his demand of £250,000-per-week as PSG has already offered him £300,000 weekly deal. Read Also | Chelsea star changes look after new haircut
Sanchez contract with the North London side is due to runout in less than 18months, and reports claim that he is keen to leave the Emirates especially after his training ground burst-up with Wenger and teammates.
However, PSG may need a new manager in the summer after Unai Emery disgracefully surrendered a 4-0 advantage in the UEFA Champions League second leg tie against Barcelona to lose 6-1 in the round of 16.
According to French journalist Julien Laurens: “Yes it’s a theory and after what happened against Barcelona, it could be on the table,” he told BBC’s Radio 5 live.
“It’s no secret PSG tried to appoint him three times as a manager and three times he rejected them.
“Now maybe this time he could be tempted. While there’s no doubt that Emery might finish the season, he won’t be there over the summer.
“They might go for Allegri, Simeone or Tuchel - or could go back to Wenger.
“He has a special relationship with the Qatari royal family. I can see them going back to him and tempting him to make it happen.
“If they were to sack Emery, Wenger would be at the top of the list.”
Arsenal was bungled out of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 by Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich on an aggregate of 10-2.Related Story | Arsenal dealt another blow as two more stars set for exits
