Why I gave away my UEFA Super Cup medal - Mourinho

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has explained reasons for giving away his medal during Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup final against Real Madrid.

When quizzed on the incident, Mourinho said: "Sometime when I win I don’t keep the medals so imagine when I lose. For that kid it’s the moon. It was a little kid with a Man United shirt. I have no idea where he came from."

Goals from Casemiro and Isco secured Zinedine Zidane's side their third major trophy in 2017 despite letting in Romelu Lukaku's first competitive United goal.
