Manchester United reportedly have to pay Monaco a further £8.7m after Anthony Martial struck his 25th Premier League goal for the club against Newcastle last weekend.
France international moves the Old Trafford from dethroned Ligue 1 Champions Monaco three years ago £36 million which could potentially rise to £57.6 million.
According to The Telegraph, Martial's 76th-minute strike before Alexis Sanchez’s 90th winner secured a dramatic 3-2 victory and alleviated some pressure on the embattled Jose Mourinho, whose side face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday week.
However, the Frenchman goals was
the first in the top flight since January, when he netted at Turf Moor to give United a 1-0 win over Burnley.
Martial has scored 38 goals in 144 games in all competitions, including a goal against Liverpool on his debut in 2015.
