Neymar has reacted to the group stage draws of the World Cup that was held on Friday in Russia as he admitted he is happy that Brazil won’t be playing any African team like the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Brazil is in the same group with Serbia, Costa Rica and Switzerland in Group E. The Paris Saint-Germain attacker specifically mentioned Nigeria as the team he wants to avoid when he spoke to the media in France.

“We (Brazil) have to be at our best to get a good result particularly in our first game of the tournament. The teams in our group are difficult to play against.
“I am happy it wasn’t a group where we had to play against African teams like Nigeria. They run a lot and are very physical in their approach. We are no doubt still up against strong sides at the World Cup,” he said.
Brazil hosted the last edition of the World Cup in 2014 but was defeated on their home soil by Germany in semi-finals the German Machine won the encounter 7-1 and proceeded to win the finals against another South American team Argentina in the extra time with 1-0.
