Zidane explains Real Madrid Champions League form

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has explained Real Madrid form ahead of the clash against Juventus in the Champions League, according to report in Spanish media.

Zidane has won two Champions League trophies and a Liga in his two seasons with the capital club, he admitted that he doesn’t know why things turned out that way, why his team played very well in Europe than the domestic scene.

Real Madrid is one leg into the semi-final having defeated Juventus 3-0 in the first leg of the quarterfinals in Turin, Los Blancos are step closer to the semi-finals and aiming for the third Champions League trophy under the management of Zidane while on the domestic scene the La Liga is far from reach after lagging behind the league leaders with 15 points on the La Liga table.

"I don't have an explanation," admitted Zidane.

"We want to win everything. But sometimes, like this year, our consistency hasn't been very good.

"We had a difficult time, especially when it came to scoring. Now we are better in every aspect.

"But it has no explanation. It makes me more excited to win the league, that is the hardest thing and I also think that is what the players want.

"In the Champions League, when you look at the history of the club, you see that nobody has matched us."
