Zidane maintains his stance on Bale exit from Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has maintained his stance on the exit of Gareth Bale from the club, the coach has made it clear that the Welsh forward is not part of his plans this season.

Zidane has instructed the sale of the winger after the Champions League finals against Liverpool in Kiev but the Frenchman resigns before the commencement of the new season which allow Bale to play one more season in the Los Blancos’colour but the untimely return of Zidane seems to stir the ugly wounds up again and this time could be Bale’s final days at Real Madrid.

He was left out in the club’s 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in their first pre-season game.

"Bale was left out because the club is trying to sell him," Zidane told the press after the game. "If he can go tomorrow, it would be better.

"It's nothing personal, I don't have anything against Bale, but I have to make decisions. There comes a time when it's time to change and it's good for everyone to go their separate ways.

"Leaving is the decision of the coach, and also the player, who knows the situation."
