Karim Benzema’s effort narrowly missed the target in the 37th minute following a break from a counterattack, Real Madrid made quick attempts on goal as they force the away team to deep defending with just five minutes to end the opening half.
Real Madrid broke the deadlock via Vinicius’ goal in the 42nd minute to give Real Madrid a 1-0 lead in the opening 45 minutes, Los Blancos took the lead to the break.
Kike Garcia equalised for the away team via a header as Osasuna was back on term to make it 1-1 in the 50th minute, Osasuna almost got the second goal but Kike miscued the ball and it went off the tap.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti replied with a double substitution with Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde for Dani Ceballos and Touchoameni in the 53rd minute of the clash.
Rodrygo was nicely set up by Benzema following a defence-splitting pass from the Frenchman but the Brazilian attacker’s ball went over the bar.
Real Madrid was awarded a penalty for a foul on Benzema and the host was awarded a penalty and had a player sent off for the foul with the Frenchman’s effort denied by the crossbar in the 79th minute.
