Bukayo Saka was the hero of the match following his brace in the 3-2 win against Liverpool in their Premier League clash at the Emirate stadium on Sunday.

Liverpool conceded an early goal with Arsenal assuming the control role from the start with a cool finish from Gabriel Martinelli in the second minute of the clash.

Arsenal explore the spaces left behind by Liverpool, the host pressed high with Gabriel Jesus one of the main threat to the Red’s defence.

Liverpool was denied from a close range but a great understanding from Arsenal’s defence line which almost resulted in an own goal was well taken care of by Aaron Ramsdale in the 30th minute of the clash.

Liverpool equalised in the 33rd minute by Darwin Nunez thanks to a perfect square play from Luis Diaz to make the score line 1-1, Liverpool struggled for balance afterwards and assumed control of the game just before the end of the first half.

Diaz was forced off with just five minutes to end the first half with Firmino thrown in to replace the Colombian attacker.

Arsenal regain control of the game with a swift counterattack that was nicely executed and completed by Bukayo Saka in the additional time of the first half, following the space left behind by Arnold thanks to a brilliant display from Martinelli.

Arnold was forced off for Joel Gomez from the start of the second half, Arsenal was the team that made the early impression in the second half with Martin Odegaard being wasteful in front of the goalpost.

Firmino ensured the scoreline returned to stalemate with a defence-splitting pass from Jota to make it 2-2 in the 52nd minute.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp introduced Fabinho in the 68th minute as Mohammed Salah was withdrawn and Matip was also substituted for Konate.

Liverpool conceded a penalty in the 73rd minute with Thiago appearing to have kicked Gabriel Jesus after a rumble in the box, Saka put Arsenal ahead with 15 minutes left to make it 3-2.

Elliot was introduced for Jota as the final substitute for Liverpool in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Arsenal skipper Odegaard made way for Tienny with eight minutes left to play.
Arsenal won the clash 3-2 as the Gunners move to the top of the Premier League table with a point difference against Manchester City with Liverpool 14 points off the leaders’ Arsenal.
