Kylian Mbappe’s mother has hinted his son’s next move with Real Madrid is not in the frame, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain has decided that they won’t sell to Real Madrid but will allow other suitors to vie for the 23-year-old attacker.

Mbappe and Paris Saint Germain are currently not in terms with the player and the club could find a balance with Liverpool circling for the signature of the World Cup winner.

“It was not just Real Madrid and PSG – I was in talks to join Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool,” the former Monaco star was quoted as saying by Telegraph.

“I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool… I don’t know why you will have to ask her!

“It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club.”

Even with Los Blancos potentially out of the picture, it remains unlikely that we’ll have the financial capabilities to acquire Mbappe in January or the summer window.

Real Madrid is also interested in the move but will not go all out for the French star following his last-minute decision to ditch the Spanish giant for a contract renewal at the Parc des Princes.

Liverpool and Real Madrid are also vying for the signature of Jude Bellingham, Los Blancos beat the Reds to the signature of Aurelien Tchoaumeni.
