Napoli survived a scare against AC Milan to earn a 1-2 win at the San Siro in the La Liga on Saturday.

Napoli and AC Milan played a goalless first half with the away team playing defensively at the San Siro.

AC Milan had 11 goal attempts in the first half while Napoli only made three efforts on goal attempts.

AC Milan only registered two shots on goal in the cagey affairs while Napoli had just one.
The home team had 48% ball possession while Napoli had a slight advantage over the home team with 52% ball possession.

It was Napoli that broke the deadlock in the 55th minute of the match from a penalty spot, thanks to Matteo Politano who made no mistake from the spot.

Olivier Giroud equalised for AC Milan in the 69th minute of the match following a well-laid assist from Theo Hernandez.

Napoli went ahead again via Giovani Simeone was left with much space in the box to head home the second goal for the away team to make it 1-2 with 12 minutes left.
