Barcelona is prepared to register another new signing against Real Valladolid in their upcoming La Liga match this weekend.

Barcelona is interested in registering former Sevilla defender Jules Kounde for their next La Liga outing against the Jose Zorrilla outfit.

The Camp Nou outfit is willing to make sales in a bid to raise funds but the board is keen on registering new players irrespective of whether Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stays or leaves for Chelsea.

The sale of Aubameyang and the registration of Kounde are not related and the operations will not determine the outcome of each other, as per report in Diario AS journalist Manu Sainz.

The former Bordeaux joined from Sevilla and the La Liga outfit failed to register him along with the other signings before their La Liga opener of the season against Rayo Vallecano.

Barcelona was expected to register Kounde before the clash against Real Sociedad but things did not go as planned, with the French defender reportedly getting frustrated over the situation.

It was reported that Barcelona needed at least €20 million to register the former Bordeaux starlet, which they hoped to accomplish with the sale of Aubameyang, who is said to be closing in on a move to Chelsea.

Barcelona is not done with their transfer with the club keen on signing a right-back and a left-back before the close of the transfer in a few days time.
