Arsenal defeated Brentford 3-0 at the Gtech Community Stadium to return to the top of the Premier League table on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal defender William Saliba’s header found the back of the net in the 18th minute to give the visitors the lead in the 18th minute of the match.
Arsenal was top again in the 28th minute of the clash with an excellent composure from Gabriel Jesus to head in the second goal thanks to an assist from Granit Xhaka to make it 2-0 for the Gunners.
Arsenal was in charge for the first 45 minutes of the match with a 2-0 lead at the Gtech community stadium.
Arsenal ensured they put the game to rest with Fabio Viera’s effort to make it 3-0, the Portuguese midfielder produced a long-range shot that render the goalkeeper hapless in the goal post.
With the result, Arsenal has leapfrogged Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Brentford will away to Bournemouth while Arsenal will host Tottenham at the Emirate Stadium in their subsequent clashes.
