Chelsea seems to have finally seen a striker to fill the void left by Romelu Lukaku in Barcelona’s team, according to a recent report.

The Blues are considering bringing back Barcelona attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back to the Premier League, having allowed Lukaku to make a return to Inter Milan on loan.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Aubameyang has emerged as a potential target for Chelsea, with the Blues attempting to sign him from Barcelona.

Aubameyang has an impressive record in England and during his four seasons at the Emirate Stadium, he scored 92 goals in 163 appearances for Arsenal.

The 33-year-old place at Barcelona was threatened with the signing of his former teammate Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, while Ansu Fati is back to full fitness this could speed up a move back to London for Aubameyang in a bid to play regularly.

Before Aubameyang moved to England he has 41 goals in 96 matches for Saint-Etienne ahead of a move to Borussia Dortmund, where he found the back of the net on 141 occasions in 212 appearances before arriving at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea is linked with a move for other Red Bull Salzburg attacker Benjamin Sesko but the Blues are not alone in the race to sign the Slovenian goal-scorer.
