Chelsea is prepared to rival fellow Premier League rival Manchester United to the signature of wantaway Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong, according to report.
De Jong has been linked away from Camp Nou in the previous month with Manchester United leading the race to get the deal done.
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag aim to reunite with the midfielder after their time at Ajax before he joined Barcelona a few seasons ago, the manager is keen on working with his compatriot at Old Trafford and making him his fourth summer signing following Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez.
Barcelona is willing to do business with the La Liga giants willing to raise funds and seek to balance their books ahead of the coming season.
