This summer Chelsea transfer target Rafael Leao scores twice as AC Milan beat Inter Milan 3-2 in a thrilling derby encounter at San Siro on Saturday night.

Nerazzurri took an early lead through Marcelo Brozovic after the Croatian midfielder capitalised on a Rossonerri defensive blunder to slot past Mike Maignan in goal.

Leao leveled the score for AC Milan less than ten minutes later as the Portuguese star put the ball past Samir Handanovic.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud put Stefano Pioli’s men ahead for the first time in the encounter and got yet another goal in the derby before Leao completes his brace with a splendid run and finish to make it 3-1.

Ex-Manchester City goal poacher Edin Dzeko came off the bench to halve the deficit and make it a very nervous finish, but ultimately the three points would stay with the Rossoneri as they jumped above Inter into the top spot for the time being.
