The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is eager of quitting Old Trafford this summer after Red Devils failed to after finishing sixth place in the Premier League table and will not participate in this season’s Champions League.

However, according to The Athletic report that Manchester United and Ten Hag have maintained that Ronaldo will not be leaving this summer despite the Portuguese desire to switch clubs.

The Dutch coach has now had a change in his mind and is open to letting Ronaldo depart Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window with the former Juventus man sometimes sits by himself during lunch at the Carrington training ground, and he has also shown his frustration during a number of training sessions.

Ronaldo missed Manchester United’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia in July due to a personal issue but the superstar has failed to open his goalscoring account this term after featuring in three Premier League games.

Red Devils are planning to sign a new forward before the end of the transfer window, with Espanyol’s Raul de Tomas, Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi and Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata said to be targets.

Manchester United are preparing turn their early season shamble around after 4-0 humiliations defeat to Brentford but refused to applaud the club’s supporters at the end of the contest and also did not shake Ten Hag’s hand.
