Real Madrid is arguably the best club in the world the club is one of the dreams of every player and it is no surprise that it boasts of some of the best players in the world.

However, former Barcelona attacker Gerard Deulofeu fancies a move to Santiago Bernabeu to don the white jersey and wants to be part of the history of the club.

Deulofeu is one of the most-n-form attackers in Europe and he has made it clear that he wants a move to Real Madrid.

“If they come, how are you going to say no?”, he said, when asked if he would be willing to join Real Madrid, by MARCA.

His claim is controversial considering he has his root from the Barcelona academy though currently playing for Udinese, he represented Barcelona in 2011 and 2013 and was later loaned to Sevilla and Everton before joining the former permanently in 2015.

The 28-year-old attacker returned to Barça in 2017 and was shipped out to Watford after just six months at the Camp Nou, Deulofeu is in the form of his life at the moment with five league assists for a Udinese and has helped the team to go five games winning streak.

The signing of Deulofeu will bolster the Real Madrid attack line but the recent crop of players at Real Madrid has made up for the absence of Karim Benzema and one would wonder if any addition is needed to this team.

Real Madrid has won all their eight games this season and earned maximum points in all those matches a feat that is synonymous with Real Madrid alone this season in Europe.

During the interview, Deulofeu also named Benzema as his pick for the Ballon d’Or 2022.
