Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is eager to dump Tottenham Hotspur to become Paris Saint-Germain’s new coach next season.
The 52-year-old Italian tactician joined Spurs last November after parting with Serie A Inter Milan last summer but the North London outfit is in a strong position of playing Champions League football from the 2022-23 campaign.
Conte signed 18 monthly contracts with Tottenham Hotspur which are expected to lapse next June and he remains uncertain surrounding his long-term future at the club.
As indicated by the French outlet Le Parisien report former Inter Milan and Juventus manager is determined to become PSG’s new head coach this summer and he is certain that he will be given the position.
Mauricio Pochettino who is the present French outfit boss could leave the capital club at the end of the Ligue 1 season despite not being able to land his dream job to manage Manchester United.
Pochettino’s inability to challenge for this season’s Champions League after being dumped out by Real Madrid in the last 16 round is likely to lead to the ex-Spurs and Southampton coach to Parc de Princes in the summer.
Conte who is yet to work in France has lifted four Serie A titles, one Premier League, and one FA Cup during his time with Juventus, Inter Milan, and Chelsea.
