Former Tottenham Hotspur superstar Rafael van der Vaart has identified two new stiker to replaced 15 goal Super Eagles goa machine Cyriel Dessers in the summer.

The 27-year-old Nigerian international has make big impact at Feynoord after scoring 15 goals and four assists to lead the Eredivisie side to the semifinals of the Europa Conference League.

Dessers has been linked with a return to KRC Genk after his season long loan expired at the end of this current campaign but Arne Slot’s men have an option to make the deal permanent.

Former Tottenham and Netherland forward Van der Vaart has recommended two striker of Jens Odgaard and Jorgen Strand to Feyenoord as replacements for Dessers in case they fail to sign him from Genk.

Dutch legend said via Studio Voetbal as reported by feyenoordpings “I think that Jens Odgaard is a really good player. If Dessers would leave Feyenoord.

“Jorgen Strand Larsen is a player I can really enjoy, that boy is a nice player to watch.”

Dessers has helped Feyenoord to third place in the Eredivisie but the striker will shift his focus to Europa Conference semi-final first leg against Olympique de Marseille on Thurday night.
