Bayern Munich has sent a warning to other Bundesliga rivals following their 6-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday evening in their Bundesliga clash on Deutsche Bank Park.
Joshua Kimmich scored the opener for Bayern Munich in the fifth minute from a long-range free-kick to put the away team ahead, the second goal came in the 11th minute, Benjamin Pavard was at the right place at the right time to send in a rebound ball into the left corner of the net.
Bayern Munich attacker Sadio Mane announced himself with a header following a beautiful cross from Serge Gnabry to make it 3-0 in the 29th.
Mane could have got a brace but his effort lacked precision, Jamal Musiala was on the scorer sheet following a brilliant assist from Thomas Muller to make it 4-0 with 10 minutes left in the opening half.
Muller was at it again when he created another chance for Gnabry who was quick to spot goalkeeper Kelvin Trapp off his line and chipped the ball over the on-rushing keeper to make it 5-0 in the opening 45 minutes.
Eintracht Frankfurt put up a fight in the second half as the home team was unlucky with VAR, but managed to score in the 64th minute via Randal Kolo Muani from an easy tap-in to make it 1-5.
Leroy Sane displayed great vision as he pass located Musiala who was accurate with his precision to make it 1-6 in the 83rd minute.
The match ended with a 1-6 scoreline in favour of the Bundesliga defending Champions.
Bayern will welcome Wolfsburg on Sunday while Frankfurt will take a trip to Helsinki to play Real Madrid in the Europe Super Cup.
