Liverpool begins their 2022-23 Premier League campaign with a visit to English top flight returnee Fulham in Saturday’s early kick-off at Craven Cottage.

Jurgen Klopp’s men lost the Premier League title on the last day of the last term to arch-rival Manchester City but the Reds will be hoping to go one better this season as they must first avoid a potential banana skin in London.

Fulham frustrate Liverpool the last time both sides met during the 2020-21 campaign as the Champions League finalist were held to just a point in west London before suffering a defeat at Anfield.



Marco Silva will know the difficulty of taking on the Reds having lost three Merseyside derbies during his stint as Everton boss, though he did claim a 2-0 triumph against Klopp as manager of Hull City in 2017.

Liverpool have won 16 of their last 18 matches in the Premier League, Reds are undefeated in 26 of their last 27 league games.

Klopp’side have won three consecutive away games in Premier League and they have found the back of the net at least twice in nine of their last 11 league fixtures matches.


Liverpool is expected to win the Saturday early Premier League kickoff.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in the Reds’ last three games in Premier League and which is expected in this outcome against Fulham.

Liverpool is expected to score two or more goals in Craven Cottage on Saturday.
