Pep Guardiola has rejected a chance to sign Manchester United’s top signing Paul Pogba this summer.
The 29-year-old World Cup winner’s current deal at Old Trafford is expected to run out in June but Red Devils interim manager Ralf Rangnick has essentially affirmed that the France international will leave on a free transfer.
According to Daily Star report that Manchester City have been linked with a move for Pogba after recent weeks of possible signing the Frenchman on a free transfer.
However, the report claims that Guardiola have clarified that he is not keen on bringing the former Juventus midfielder to the Etihad Stadium ahead of next season.
Manchester City coach additionally expressed back in 2018 that the club had turned down the opportunity to sign Pogba during Jose Mourinho’s time at Old Trafford.
Pogba’s eagerness to remain in Premier League has been continuing to be linked with a switch to Juventus, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.
