Erling Braut Haaland assists as Kevin De Bruyne shines in Manchester City 4-0 big win over Bournemouth at Etihad Stadium in the Premier League encounter on Saturday.

Erling Haaland could not mark his home debut for Manchester City with another goal AFTER scoring twice on his Premier League bow at West Ham last weekend.

Manchester City took 18 minutes to break the deadlock after Ilkay Gundogan open the floodgate for the home side with Norwegian star set him up.

The impressive Bruyne made it 2-0 with a dazzling solo strike, running to the corner of the area before bending the ball into the bottom corner with the outside of his boot.

And Phil Foden made sure of the points before half-time, running on to a De Bruyne pass and letting fly with a shot that Cherries keeper Mark Travers got his body behind but could not keep out.

Pep Guardiola’s men turned in a more leisurely display after the interval, although a fourth goal eventually followed when the irrepressible Joao Cancelo saw a square ball diverted into the net by Jefferson Lerma.

Manchester City will take to the road with a trip to Newcastle United on August 21, while Bournemouth host Arsenal a day earlier.
