Alex Iwobi will be making his 60th appearance for the national team when the Super Eagles battle Algeria in an international friendly match against Algeria.

The two former African Champions slug it out at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran on Tuesday night as Nigeria aims to avenge the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final defeat.

Iwobi played for England as a young player where he made eight appearances before he pledged his allegiance to Super Eagles in 2015.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international made his debut for the Super Eagles on 8 October, replacing Ahmed Musa in the 57th minute of a 2–0 friendly defeat to DR Congo in Belgium.
