Manchester United target 46 goals for Ivory Coast striker Sebastian Haller ahead of the summer transfer.
The 27-year-old goal poacher revives his career with Ajax after scoring 46 goals and providing 16 assists in 62 appearances for the Eredivisie defending champions, including 33 strikes and nine assists in all competitions this term.
Haller has been in the form of his life in this season’s Champions League with 11 goals and creates two assists in eight appearances before the Dutch outfit was dumped out by Benfica in the last 16.
According to The Sun reports that incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is keen on bringing the striker with him to Old Trafford this summer
The news outlet insisted that Red Devil’s new boss sees Haller as a cheaper alternative to Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Benfica’s Darwin Nunez after the Ivorian star could cost in the region of £35m.
Haller struggled at West Ham between 2019 and 2021 where he notched only 14 goals in 54 matches before moving to Ajax.
The African star still has more than three years left to run on his deal at Johan Cruyff Arena, but there has recently been speculation surrounding his future due to his form this term.
