According to Telegraph reports that Leicester City manager Rodgers wants to bring Switzerland international Akanji whose father is Nigerian to King Power Stadium before the summer transfer window shuts in less than a week.

Akanji was one time linked with a move to Arsenal when the Gunners were thinking about making offers for Lisandro Martinez who has since joined Manchester United.
