Barcelona new signing Robert Lewandowski aimed a jibe at Los Blancos captain Karim Benzema and Real Madrid respectively during his presentation to the Camp Nou fans.

Lewandowski was officially presented to his new fans after his switch from Bayern Munich last month to Barcelona and during his presentation, he added more fuel to the burning El-Clasico duel.

The former Bayern Munich attacker talked about his experience against Real Madrid and aimed a subtle jibe against Benzema and Real Madrid.

“I’m always ready to play against Real Madrid,” Lewandowski said in his presentation.

“I know how to play against them. Last season was very successful for them. We are here to beat them. We know it will be difficult, but this is football.

“It’s not just Real Madrid. You have to be always prepared because there are fantastic clubs. You have to always play at your best level. I know we will go out to win every game. It will be a challenge.

“I’m not thinking about Real Madrid or [Karim] Benzema. He’s a fantastic striker, who has been in LaLiga for years. It’s important for me to play well against Barcelona and not against him.”

The Polish attacker has already felt what an El-Clasico would look like during their pre-season clash a game he was kept muted despite not much seriousness attached to it, it was just a pre-season warm-up game for the United State of America fans.

Barcelona will start their campaign against Real Vellacano a team that defeat the Camp Nou side home and away last season.
