Lionel Messi’s goal was enough for PSG to earn three points against Lyon in the Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.
Messi scored the opener thanks to an assist from Neymar in the 5th minute of the match.
It was a PSG affair in the opening 45 minutes with the Ligue 1 Champions in charge with 71% ball possession to Lyon’s 29% in the first half.
Paris Saint-Germain was held in the second half by Lyon defenders despite their brilliant display.
The match ended 1-0 in favour of the Ligue 1 Champions.
