Manchester United and Real Madrid is set to finalise the deal to seal a move for Casemiro to Old Trafford.
The Brazilian midfielder might have played his last game for Real Madrid against Almeria and he is prepared for a move to England as the agreement between the player and the club seems to be done and the only missing criteria is the medical examination.
Real Madrid is expected to permit Casemiro to fly to England for medicals with Manchester United having negotiated the move for three days.
Real Madrid will not stand in the way of the Brazilian in the deal to seal a move to Old Trafford and he has been given the nod to progress with the deal if he feels it is the best decision for him at the moment.
Manchester United is set to pay Real Madrid an initial £50.7m for Casemiro with £8.5m in add-ons; the midfielder has agreed to sign a four-year contract with the option of a further 12 months
Casemiro joined Real Madrid from Sao Paulo for a fee of €6 million euro and has gone to be one of the best midfielders in the world having won all club’s laurels with Los Blancos, he was one of the main players in Real Madrid’s three Champions League successive run under manager Zinedine Zidane.
Real Madrid had already put a succession plan in place with the signing of Aurelien Tchoumeni from AS Monaco this summer.
