Manchester United legend Garry Neville blasted the Red Devils’ new signings following their 1-0 defeat against Real Sociedad on Thursday in the Europa League.
Casemiro was handed his first start by manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford against Real Sociedad having completed a switch to the Premier League team in the final days of the transfer window in a deal worth £70m move from Real Madrid.

“Manchester United wanted to spend about £130m-£140m, they ended up spending £230m”, as per his appearance on The Overlap podcast.
“The Casemiro and Antony bids came in two days before the Liverpool game, which was obviously a moment where they just needed to get players in.”
