Lionel Messi’s linkup with Kylian Mbappe is unreal as PSG smash AC Ajaccio 3-0 at Stade Francois Coty in the Ligue 1 encounter on Friday night.
The defending champions open the scoring through Kylian Mbappe in the 24th minute after the French striker latched onto Messi’s through ball to emphatically finish first-time beyond Ajaccio goalkeeper Benjamin Leroy and into the net.
Mbappe repaying the favor by setting up Messi with a cheeky backheel assist as the Argentina skipper to finish off sublime goal to make it 2-0 in the 78th minute.
Christophe Galtier’s side sealed the points four minutes later, as Mbappe once again was fed by a Messi through pass and finished low into the bottom-left corner of the net from close range to give PSG their second win in succession.
The victory strengthens PSG’s grip on top spot in Ligue 1, moving them six points clear of second-placed Lorient ahead of the rest of this weekend’s fixtures.
