Napoli was on top of their game against Liverpool in their 4-1 win against the Reds in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Napoli went ahead from the penalty spot following a handball from James Milner inside the box in the fifth minute of the match as Piotr Zielinski made no mistake from the spot.

Another spot-kick was awarded to Napoli with Victor Osimhen following a foul from Van Dijk but Osimhen missed from the spot with Becker Alisson denying the Nigerian star.
Napoli missed another chance to get the second goal of the night with Van Dijk making a clearance from the goal line.

Anguissa made it 2-0 from a good ball work at the edge of the box to get the second for the home team.
Oshimhen was subbed off with four minutes to halftime, he was replaced by Giovanni Simeone, the substitute take no time to announce himself with a goal just three minutes after his entrance into the pitch.
The first half ended 3-0 for Napoli at the Diego Maradonna stadium.

Napoli continued from they stopped in the first half with a goal just two minutes into the second half with a perfect touch from Zielinski to make it 4-0.

Liverpool responded with Luiz Diaz’s pefect curler from the edge of the box to make it 4-1

Napoli will return to domestic action against Spezia while their next opponent in the Champions League would be away trip to Ranger.
