However, according to NFF’s social media handle after announcing a second friendly match for the Super Eagles against Ecuador on Thursday, 2nd June 2022 despite the football governing body has not named a substantive new foreign manager for the Super Eagles although the backroom staff has been chosen.

The international friendly encounter will come five days after facing CONCACAF side Mexico at the AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
