Real Madrid will take a trip to Barcelona to face Espanyol at the RCDE stadium without three defenders.
Real Madrid won their two openers against Almeria and Celta Vigo but things begin to look shaky as they head to Barcelona for their third game of the season.
The La Liga champions will be without Nacho Fernandez, Jesus Vallejo and Alvaro Odriozola for their clash against Espanyol, with manager Carlo Ancelotti only able to name just five defenders for the trip to the RCDE Stadium.

The three defenders won’t be counted on for the clash against Espanyol due to injury and the manager has encouraged the defenders to step in the absence of the injured trio.
Fernandez and Vallejo have featured this season, with both making their entry from the bench in the past weeks, the Italian manager is keen on squad rotation in a bid to keep the players fit due to the league interruption by the FIFA calendar which will see the World Cup played in between the season.
Odriozola is yet to feature for Real Madrid this season following his injury that prevented him from making the squad in the past two weeks.
However, Real Madrid will welcome back Toni Kroos back to the team, after missing last weekend’s 4-1 win away at Celta Vigo with a virus.
Espanyol is yet to claim a win this season having drawn their first game against Celta Vigo and suffered a defeat in their last outing at the RCDE stadium against Rayo Vallecano.
