Real Madrid will begin their season with the challenge of the UEFA Super Cup against Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.
Los Blancos will be active in six competitions this season, the UEFA Super Cup, La Liga, World Club cup, Champions League, Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.
The first is the UEFA Super Cup against German opposition Eintracht Frankfurt.
Real Madrid will take a trip to Finland’s capital Helsinki for the curtain raiser for their campaign with the La Liga Champions aiming to get the job done without any complications.
Though the Champions League winners are yet to hit full gear following just one win in their last three matches in their pre-season preparation.
Real Madrid is bracing up for the season with their title defence coming up against Almeria this weekend.
The club’s plans are as follows, the squad will travel on the 9th of August for the clash and lodge in the Hilton Helsinki Strand hotel that night, as per a report from Diario AS.
The game will take place in front of a limited crowd at Helsinki’s Olympic Stadium.
